To be lost is a horrible thing.
Not knowing which way to go;
Not understanding where the wrong turn was made;
If only to confront the dilemma of a fork in the road… but there is no road.
Just to be able hear a voice calling; but there are several voices calling from different directions;
To be lost in total darkness when light shines all around;
To be lost in a thick gray fog; an impenetrable dank rain forest; a wide open grassland that monotonously extends in all directions; an ocean adrift; a community… it’s all the same.
Do you sit and wait?
Do you venture forth in some direction?
Do you just disappear?
To be lost is a horrible thing.
